As Founder of INNOVU Strategy Group, I provide strategic advisory support to organisations, institutions and mission-driven leaders across areas including strategic communications, reputation management, executive positioning, stakeholder engagement and government relations.
Over more than a decade, my career has taken me across the Caribbean and into regional and international development environments, working with governments, development partners, senior leaders and diverse stakeholder groups. I have developed and led communications strategies, advised senior decision-makers, supported high-level engagements, managed sensitive communications issues and translated complex policy and development priorities into communications that people can understand and act on.
My experience spans strategic communications planning, reputation and crisis communications, government and stakeholder relations, executive communications, media and public relations, internal communications and thought leadership.
My Approach
I believe communication is more than messaging; it is a leadership tool.
The strongest communications strategies don't begin with a press release, social media post or campaign. They begin with understanding the environment: who matters, what is at stake, where trust exists, where it doesn't and what an organisation or leader ultimately needs to achieve.
My approach therefore combines strategy, diplomacy, emotional intelligence and context. Whether I am advising on reputation, developing a communications strategy, engaging stakeholders or helping leaders navigate a sensitive issue, my focus is on communication that is strategic, credible and human.
Beyond the Work
I am particularly interested in the role communication plays in development, leadership and institutional trust, with a strong connection to the Caribbean and the issues shaping its future.
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy writing, traveling, reading and exploring ideas around leadership, personal growth and purpose. These interests are also reflected in the essays and reflections I share through this platform.
